Henfield and the Climate and Biodiversity Emergencies

There is a worldwide initiative to promote faster action on the  Climate and Nature Emergency. Many areas across the world, including Henfield,  have declared a climate emergency.

The UK government and many local authorities including Henfield, Horsham and West Sussex declared a Climate Emergency in 2019. Here is a link to Henfield Parish Council’s Climate and Environment Plan:  https://www.henfield.gov.uk/local-climate-and-environment-plan

Our own  County Council launched the West Sussex Climate Pledge in 2019 and in 2020 is making its Draft Climate Strategy with targets to reach zero carbon by 2030.
