Family Nature Trail

To support the ‘Summer of Fun’ in Henfield, some SH2030 volunteers have created a summer Nature Trail for children aged 7-13 to do with their families. Full Details and the map are here:
We hope the trail will develop children’s interest in the natural world, and that the whole family will get a thrill from spotting different flowers, trees, birds and insects around the village which should be around in May-June.
It is a short trail in key locations in the village and the accompanying notes page and links will explain what can be seen in more detail.
The route does require crossing two busy roads. Please take care near traffic and roadsides. We urge everyone to take the usual caution when crossing and especially to ensure children do not cross without an adult supervising.
